How To Get here

By Road: M4 West to Junction 49. A48 to Carmarthen. A40 to St Clears. A477 to Kilgetty. 
A478 to Tenby. Car/Coach parking in Tenby. 10 mins walk to Tenby Harbour.
By Bus: National Express from London, Birmingham and other cities, to Tenby. 10 mins walk to Tenby Harbour.

By Train: From London Paddington, Birmingham and other cities to Tenby Station. 15 mins walk to Tenby Harbour.

From Ireland, via Rosslaire to Pembroke. A477 to Kilgetty. A478 to Tenby. Car/Coach parking in Tenby. 10 mins walk to Tenby Harbour.

A fleet of boats runs to the island from Tenby Harbour from Easter to October. These boats, which are licensed and strictly supervised by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, are owned and operated by local boatmen who are responsible for the decision to conduct sailings that day in respect of sea and weather conditions. 
Tickets are obtained from the Caldey Island Kiosk at the top of Tenby Harbour. Children under the age of sixteen must be accompanied by an adult. The ticket price includes return boat fare. You can travel and return on any boat.

Prices:

Adults £18, Seniors £16, Child £10, Family Ticket (2 adults, up to 3 children) £48 (children under 4 years travel free)

During the months of April and October opening times are as shown in the Announcements and Opening Dates pages.

From May to September boats run Monday to Saturday. 

The Island is closed on Sundays. 

Sailings every twenty to thirty minutes, with final boat to the island departing two hours prior to final boat leaving the island.
Final boat time is announced on the outgoing journey and displayed on the noticeboard on Caldey landing slip.

At high tide boats leave from the Harbour and at low water from the landing stage on Castle Beach.

Crossing time is about 20 minutes.
